Street Scene Wall Murals
I spent most of the week in Grand Rapids, Michigan working on this really fun project. Long working days, but since I’m not commuting back across state except on the week-end, what else was there to do but work hard? The project is starting to really come together and I’m loving how these street scene wall murals are looking.
My task was to design a mural that incorporates an assortment of doors- Front door, pantry, closet and storage, with unequal sizes and spaces in between, along with a mural on a good sized blank wall just to the left of the kitchen in a high rise condo.
This is the start of the mural, an extension of the street scene wall, with shops. This is just the start of it, more architecture and items will be added when I return next week.
The ‘Street Scene’ incorporating the doors, shop awnings, bricks embedded in the walls and ‘glass’ doors looking into shops. Already the work seems to expand the space!

Earlier in the week, I completed the huge columns to take some interest around the space.
The project is in a high rise condo, right downtown, and has two huge columns in it, in need of some decoration- old stucco and bricks work well with the new tile floor and existing yellow beige walls.
I’ll be spending much of next week working there again, finishing up and will post the finished photos when I return next week-end. Hope you like it so far!
