Here’s a couple of small accent furniture items I finished up recently that are looking for a good home. (Wow. I posted this last week and sold both within a day- they are already in their new homes!)

This small decorative shelf I snatched up a while back at an estate sale. I thought it would look awesome dressed up in a fresh coat of paint, distressed and glazed. I added a bit of decorative painting to the top and finished it all off with a great wax finish for a great look. It can be easily hung with just two nails underneath. Think about using it in a small entry area below a mirror, in the powder room as an accent or at the end of a hallway.

The dimensions of this piece are 19″ wide by 8″ deep x 6.5″ high in the front scrollwork. SOLD

Accent Table:

Check out this gorgeous solid Walnut accent table with hand buffed wax finish! Beautiful depth of color, great for  chairside to hold a cup of coffee while you read the morning paper (or blog). I just couldn’t bear to cover up this beautiful walnut, and instead of the usual paint, gave her a many layered hard wax finish, buffed to a rich glow. 15″ across the top x 23 high. SOLD
