A client contacted me with a special request to copy another artist’s work and paint it directly on their wall. Due to copyright issues, I will not usually do this.

They claimed to know the artist, claimed that they had his verbal OK to do so, and had the original artwork. I photographed it for reference and told them the work could be similar, but I have my own style. They agreed to my pricing, and we set up a schedule to do the work.

My version is a bit different, while paying homage to the original. They were very pleased with how it turned out!
