We love to go to garage sales, yard sales, and barn sales. We don’t need a thing, actually, but sometimes it’s hard to pass up a good bargain when it is something we can use, or if it is a rooster. I love roosters.

At one such sale, I found a real treasure! An old wall mounted medicine cabinet, in really good shape. I knew I could make something special out of it with a bit of paint.

I removed the mirror in the door and cut a canvas panel to fit before painting it. Love this barn red color. For the panel, I was inspired by the work I did on this pantry door, I wanted one for ME!

We hung it in our kitchen, it holds our vitamins, and a few various OTC medicines. Chanticleer the Rooster greets me every morning as I make my pot of coffee.
